Chapter 64: Who’s the Genius Now?

Going against the Temple of Chiselers? What a joke. Even the royals would not dare to do so, not to mention the Mu family.

“Look at you, abusing your powers. Don’t tell me that a mere level one chiseler like you represents the Temple of Chislers? What a joke.”

At this moment, a cold laugh rang out from afar. A handsome young man dressed in black robes slowly walked into hall. The corner of his lips curled up slightly and he said in a sarcastic manner.

“Little Lord!”

As soon as the Mu elders saw him walking into the hall, they immediately clasped hands and greeted him with a bow.

“It’s you! Kiddo, we finally meet again!”

Wang Yue gritted his teeth in anger when he saw Mu Feng, as he couldn’t forget the slap that he got from him that day.

For men, there were three places on their bodies that could not be hit or slapped on.

They were the head, face, and their third leg.

Nothing was more humiliating for a man to be slapped on the face.

“Oh? It’s you again. Wow, I’m impressed that you actually found me here. What’s the matter? You want another tight slap from me?”

Mu Feng recognized Wang Yue at a glance and sneered coldly.
“You little brat, how dare you talk to me like that?! I’m here because I want you to kneel down and apologize to me!”

Wang Yue was so angry that his face turned purplish.

“Wow, just look at your manners. Kiddo, is this how you treat people after slapping them on the face?”

Wang Bin got up from his seat and said with a cold laugh.

“Slapping him in the face is nothing. Aren’t you curious why I slapped him? That day, he actually wanted to rob me! You’re lucky that I didn’t kill your son that day, old man.”

Mu Feng said calmly. He somehow saw the resemblance among them, so he assumed that he was Wang Yue’s father.

“How dare you?!”

Master Zhou stood up and said coldly: “Kiddo, I’m not sure if you know about this, but Wang Yue will soon start his training in the Temple of Chiselers. Slapping him in the face means that you’re indirectly slapping the chiselers in their faces as well! By the way, what did you mean by that just now? I’m giving you a chance, kneel down and kowtow three times in front of Wang Yue and me, and I’ll forgive you. Otherwise…”

A murderous intent flashed across Zhou Wu’s eyes as he said coldly.

Mu Feng glanced at the fire cloud pattern that was stitched on Zhou Wu’s sleeve and his lips curled into a sarcastic smile. He then said: “You’re only a level one chiseler, but you have the guts to say that you’re representing the Temple of Chiselers?! Who the f*ck gave you the authority to say so?!”

Mu Feng who had joined the army since young was obviously not a soft hearted person. Being a man of iron and blood, he clearly knew that this was not the time to be polite!

“You…”

Zhou Wu flew into a rage and was speechless. He pointed at Mu Feng and glared at him. After a while, he laughed and said: “Fine! That’s great! How dare you insult me, a chiseler from the Temple of Chiselers?! You’re doomed, your family is doomed!”

“Well, I’m curious about how will my family be doomed! Guards!”

Mu Feng smiled coldly and shouted.

Swoosh! Swish!

In an instant, all the Mu elders stood up, blocked the entrance and encircled them. A group of Mu disciples then marched into the hall with weapons and asked with utmost respect: “Little Lord, what are your orders?”

Upon seeing this scene, all three of them turned pale slightly. They didn’t expect the others to obey Mu Feng’s command.

“Lord Mu, what do you mean by this?! Is this an indication that you want to have a battle with our family?”

Wang Bin said coldly.

Mu Hai remained silent upon hearing his words. He too stood behind Mu Feng and awaited for his orders.

“What the heck are you guys trying to do here?! If you dare to lay a finger on me, you’ll be considered as offending the whole Temple of Chiselers. If that happens, the Mu family is doomed for sure!”

Zhou Wu snapped.

Mu Feng sneered. Just as he was about to say something, a voice rang out from outside.

“Report!”

A Mu disciple walked into the hall and said respectfully to Mu Hai and Mu Feng: “My Lord, and Little Lord, Shopkeeper Lee and Elder Qian from Wan Bao Ju are here to pay a visit.”

“Shopkeeper Lee and Elder Qian from Wan Bao Ju?!”

A frown appeared instantly on both of their faces. They were no more than acquaintances, so why are they here now?

“Haha, it’s Elder Qian! You guys are really doomed. Elder Qian is a level two Tally Rune chiseler from our Temple. I’m sure he’ll teach you guys a lesson.”

Upon hearing the disciple’s words, a wide smile appeared on Zhou Wu’s face and he laughed loudly.

Chiselers were classified into a few types, such as Tally Rune chiselers, Weapon Rune chiselers, Panecea Rune chiseler, etc. Of course, there were some chiselers who trained in many areas, but most of them only specialized in one.

Xi Yue had high hopes for Mu Feng, so she wanted Mu Feng to train in multiple areas, including Tally Runes, Weapon Runes, Spell Runes as well as Panecea Runes.

The Mu family members exchanged a glance and sensed that something was wrong. Elder Qian was a level two Tally Rune chiseler who was very highly respected by the other chiselers within the Temple. He was also the middle-man of the Temple of Chiselers.

Wan Bao Ju was one of the Temple’s line of business, and their shops could be found all over the Nan Ling kingdom.

After a while, two men walked into the hall. One of them was Shopkeeper Lee, and he was dressed in yellow robes.

Another man was Elder Qian, and he was dressed in his chiseler’s robes.

“What brings you here today, Elder Qian?”

Zhou Wu immediately approached Elder Qian and greeted him respectfully. The social status of a chisler differed greatly even if his level outranked yours by only one level.

“Oh? I didn’t expect to see you here as well, Little Zhou. I’m here to pay my visits to a chiseler genius.”

Elder Qian recognized Zhou Wu and said with a laugh.

A chiseler genius? Don’t tell me that he’s referring to Wang Yue?

Zhou Wu thought to himself.

Wang Yue was delighted when he heard his words. He didn’t expect that his talent was actually recognized by a level two chiseler.

Wang Yue immediately stood up, tugged at his robes, approached Elder Qian and said respectfully: “It’s my pleasure to meet you, Elder Qian.”

However, Elder Qian walked right past without even glancing at him. Wang Yue was puzzled and stood there with a frozen smile.

Elder Qian walked up to Mu Feng, clasped hands and said warmly: “It’s been quite some time since we last met, little brother Mu.”

“Oh, so you’re Elder Qian from Wan Bao Ju! I’m so sorry for not recognizing you last time. Please forgive me.”

Mu Feng clasped hands and said while slightly bowing down.

Everybody was stunned when they saw this scene, especially Wang Bin, Wang Yue and Zhou Wu!

What the heck is going on here?!

“Elder Qian, aren’t you here to meet a chiseler genius? Why are you…”

Zhou Wu stepped forward and blurted out.

“Yeah, that’s right. I’m here to meet a chiseler genius indeed. Are you guys here because of this too?”

Elder Qian asked in puzzlement.

“Isn’t Wang Yue the chiseler genius?’
Zhou Wu asked in confusement.

“Him?”

Elder Qian looked at Wang Yue. Wang Yue straightened his back and returned his gaze, but he was shocked after hearing what Elder Qian said next.

“Who the heck is he? The one I’m looking for is little brother Mu.”

Elder Qian glanced at Wang Yue with a hint of disdain and smiled at Mu Feng once more.

“What?! This little brat is a chiseler genius?!”

Zhou Wu, Wang Yue and Wang Bin were even more stunned when they heard his words.

Elder Qian turned to Mu Feng and asked with a smile: “Little brother Mu, if I’m not wrong, some of the Tally Runes which you sold that day were carved by you, right?”

Among the Tally Runes that Mu Feng sold that day, one could see that some of them were carved by an experienced chiseler, while the others were carved by a newbie. It was obvious that the runes were carved by two different people.

“Haha, I’m impressed that you noticed that. Yes, you’re right. Some of the runes were carved by me, and some were carved by my shifu.”

Mu Feng was somewhat surprised, but he then admitted with a laugh.

“Great. That’s very impressive. I didn’t expect someone as young as you to actually know how to carve some level one runes. With this kind of craftsmanship, you’re already considered a level one chiseler.”
Elder Qian was impressed by his talent and began praising him.

Zhou Wu and the others were dumbfounded.

He-he’s a level one chiseler?!
